Jack Petchey

Jack Petchey is a British entrepreneur and investor known for his investments in various UK businesses. He founded Petchey Holdings, a privately owned property company based in London's Docklands, which manages a commercial portfolio including over 4 million square feet of industrial properties and a large Central London residential portfolio comprising over 350 flats in prime West London locations. Petchey Holdings is also involved in joint venture development projects, collaborating with developers and architects to deliver housing and mixed-use schemes. The company has acquired over 100 properties since 2013 and is focused on expanding its industrial portfolio in London and the South East. In addition to his business ventures, Jack Petchey is the patron of the Jack Petchey Foundation, a registered charity that donates over £10 million annually to causes supporting young people throughout London and Essex. The foundation runs various programs, including the Achievement Award scheme, which enables schools and youth organizations to celebrate the achievements of young people and receive additional funding. Petchey was knighted in recognition of his charitable work with the foundation. Throughout his career, Jack Petchey has been recognized for his contributions to business and philanthropy. He was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2004 Birthday Honours for services to young people in East London and Essex through the Jack Petchey Foundation, and Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2011 Birthday Honours for charitable services. He was knighted in the 2016 New Year Honours for services to young people in East London and Essex through the Jack Petchey Foundation. As of May 2017, he was estimated to be worth £550 million.
