Jarrod Dicker

Overview

Jarrod Dicker is an entrepreneurial media and technology executive and angel investor. He is currently a Partner at TCG (The Chernin Group), focusing on investments in Web3, blockchain, and other technologies that connect fans with creators. Prior to joining TCG, Dicker served as the Chief Executive Officer of Po.et, a decentralized media technology company, where he pioneered the integration of blockchain technology into the media and advertising sectors. Before Po.et, he held leadership roles at The Washington Post, including Vice President of Commercial Technology and Development, where he founded the research, experimentation, and development team (RED) and the advertising software-as-a-service arm, Zeus. Dicker has also led product and technology teams at RebelMouse, Time Inc., and the Huffington Post. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Rutgers University and studied Journalism at the University of Colorado Boulder. Dicker has been recognized for his innovative contributions to the media industry, including being named to the Advertising Hall of Achievement by the American Advertising Federation in 2020. He is also an active mentor in the Techstars community and serves on the Board of Advisors for Rutgers University School of Innovation and Mogul Inc., a technology platform that enables women worldwide to share ideas and access content based on personal interests. Dicker resides in New Jersey with his wife, twin boys, and three rescue dogs.
