Jeff Burningham

Overview

Jeff Burningham is the co-founder and chairman of Peak Capital Partners, a real estate investment firm based in Provo, Utah. The firm specializes in multifamily housing investments across the United States, focusing on both conventional and affordable communities in growth markets. Peak Capital Partners has been recognized for its significant contributions to the real estate sector, including being named to Inc. Magazine’s list of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies for five consecutive years, placing it on the Inc. 5000 Honor Roll. In addition to his role at Peak Capital Partners, Burningham co-founded Peak Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund that invests in technology startups. The fund has supported several emerging companies across Utah and the United States. Burningham has also been involved in public service, including a 2020 gubernatorial campaign in Utah, and has authored a book on artificial intelligence titled 'The Last Book Written by a Human: Becoming Wise in the Age of AI' (2025). Burningham holds an undergraduate degree and an MBA from Brigham Young University. He is also active in philanthropy and serves on the board of three non-profit organizations. He enjoys coaching his children’s basketball teams and traveling the world with his wife, Sally.
