John M. Fife

Overview

As the Managing Partner of Chicago Venture Partners (CVP), John M. Fife leads a firm that specializes in providing flexible capital solutions for emerging and growth-stage companies listed on the Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange. CVP focuses on private investments in public equities (PIPEs), investing its own capital to support businesses across various industries. The firm manages over $825 million in assets and has invested in more than 350 publicly traded companies since its founding in 1998, with individual investments reaching up to $100 million. CVP also seeks private investment opportunities, from acquiring established companies to launching new ventures, working closely with management teams to foster long-term relationships and shared success. Prior to establishing CVP, Fife represented Continental Illinois Venture Corporation (now CIVC Partners) as a member of the board of directors for several portfolio firms and served as the company’s assistant vice president. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a joint Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Statistics from Brigham Young University. In addition to his role at CVP, Fife serves as the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board of United American Healthcare Corp. (OTC: UAHC). Fife is also involved in various privately held businesses, including control positions in Typenex Medical, LLC, a Chicago-based medical device company serving over 5,000 hospitals and healthcare facilities, and Gibson Technical Services, a design, consulting, and construction firm supporting major cable companies and equipment manufacturers. His philanthropic efforts include significant donations to his alma maters and support for humanitarian causes, such as funding a dedication ceremony at the Vermont Youth Orchestra Association in honor of his father, a cancer survivor who was involved with the association for over 20 years. He also co-founded Emerging Artists Chicago, a collaborative organization dedicated to nurturing the talents of young local musicians, and has supported music education through ongoing contributions to the Music Institute of Chicago and the Merit School of Music.
