Joseph Bae

Overview

As Co-Chief Executive Officer of KKR & Co. Inc., Joseph Bae oversees the firm's global operations, focusing on private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and energy investments. He joined KKR in 1996 and has been instrumental in expanding the firm's presence in Asia, building one of the largest and most successful platforms in the region. Under his leadership, KKR has implemented a modern thematic investment approach, leading or serving on all of the firm's investment committees. Prior to his current role, Bae served as Co-President and Co-Chief Operating Officer from 2017 to 2021. He has been a member of KKR's Board of Directors since July 2017.
