Judd Zebersky

Overview

Judd Zebersky is an angel investor and founder of Jazwares, a leading toy and consumer products company. In 1997, he left his legal practice to pursue his dream of building a toy company. Over 25 years later, his vision has grown Jazwares into a global powerhouse with an award-winning portfolio of wholly owned and licensed brands in the toy and consumer products industry. In 2022, Berkshire Hathaway acquired Jazwares. Beyond building innovative toys and collectibles, Zebersky is deeply committed to making a positive impact through giving back to the community. He created Jazwares Cares, the philanthropic arm of Jazwares, from the start of the company. Through Jazwares Cares, the company has donated millions of toys and carries out several initiatives to support the health, well-being, and educational development of all children through play. He has also been a dedicated supporter of Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in South Florida, contributing to the hospital's capital expansion campaign and funding two named spaces within the facility: the Pediatric Emergency Department Registration Area and the Outpatient Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit. Additionally, Zebersky and his wife, Laura, are committed supporters of Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, helping grant more than 100 wishes and giving at the $1,000,000+ donor level. Zebersky's leadership and philanthropic efforts have been recognized with several awards, including the South Florida Business Journal's Ultimate CEOs in 2024 and inclusion in The Business Report's Top 50 Entrepreneurs of 2023. His belief that bringing joy to children in their most difficult moments is not just a business value, but a personal one, has guided his giving throughout his career.
