Kabir Shahani is an American technology entrepreneur and angel investor based in the United States. He is the Executive Chairman and Founder of Amp It Up Ventures, a firm through which he has invested in and founded several software businesses, including Avante and Adora. Shahani co-founded Amperity in 2016, a customer data platform that unifies fragmented customer data for enterprise brands. Under his leadership, Amperity achieved unicorn status in 2021, reaching a valuation exceeding $1 billion. Prior to Amperity, Shahani co-founded Appature, a cloud-based marketing automation platform acquired by IMS Health in 2013. He has also served as Vice President of Technology and Applications at IMS Health and as CEO and Co-founder of Appature. Shahani holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics from the University of Washington and completed the Advanced Management Executive Program at Northwestern University in 2011. He has been recognized as one of BusinessWeek’s “Best Young Tech Entrepreneurs” in 2009 and received the Puget Sound Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” honor in 2011. Shahani continues to serve as a Senior Advisor at Amperity and is involved in various entrepreneurial ventures.
