Kalpesh Mehta is an Indian entrepreneur and angel investor specializing in real estate and technology sectors. He is the founder and managing partner of Tribeca Developers, a real estate firm known for residential projects, including developments under a licensing agreement with The Trump Organization. Under Mehta’s leadership, Tribeca has launched Trump-branded projects in Indian cities including Gurugram, Pune, and Mumbai. Mehta began his career in investment banking and private equity with Lehman Brothers and The Carlyle Group. In 2014, he secured an exclusive partnership between Tribeca Developers and The Trump Organization to develop Trump-branded projects in India. According to media reports, the partnership positioned Tribeca as the largest Trump licensee developer outside of the United States. In March 2025, Mehta announced Trump World Center Pune, the first Trump-branded office development in India. The planned 1.6 million sq.ft. project comprises two 27-storey towers – one for sale and the other for lease – and is being developed with Kundan Spaces on a 4.3-acre site in Pune. The investment is estimated at ₹2,500 crore (USD 289 million), with an expected completion timeframe of approximately four years. In April 2025, Mehta announced the launch of Trump Residences Gurgaon, a luxury residential project comprising two 51-storey towers, with a total investment of approximately ₹1,200 crore. The development was undertaken in partnership with Smartworld Developers.
