Kat Borlongan is a French angel investor and former Director of La French Tech, a government initiative supporting startups. She has spent over a decade working across Europe’s startup ecosystem, bridging entrepreneurship, investment, and public policy. An entrepreneur at heart, she co-founded Five by Five, an open innovation agency that was later acquired by Capgemini. She also served as Chief Impact Officer at Contentsquare, a late-stage UX analytics startup. In her role as Director of La French Tech under President Macron, she led efforts to strengthen France’s tech ecosystem and global brand, including the creation of the French Tech Next40/120 program and a €25 million meta-accelerator for underprivileged founders. She later served two consecutive terms on the Board of the European Innovation Council and continues to support EU startup policymaking as an EIC Ambassador and contributor to Commissioner Zaharieva’s Startup and Scaleup Forum.
