Kate Morris

Kate Morris is an Australian entrepreneur and angel investor known for her involvement in various startups and investment ventures. She co-founded Adore Beauty in 1999, growing it into Australia's leading online beauty retailer. In October 2020, Adore Beauty listed on the ASX (ASX:ABY), setting a record for the largest ever IPO with a female founder and female CEO. Kate serves as the Chief Innovation Officer and sits on the Board of Directors as an Executive Director at Adore Beauty. In September 2021, Kate co-founded Glow Capital Partners, a growth equity firm focused on investing in purpose-driven businesses across Australia and New Zealand. The firm aims to support founders in scaling their operations to reach their full potential, with investments ranging from $20 million to $50 million. Kate is also an angel investor and mentor at Startmate, a startup accelerator program. Kate has been recognized for her contributions to the business community, receiving multiple awards including the Telstra Business Women’s Awards and the Alumni Excellence Award from Monash University. She is a passionate advocate for gender equality and is committed to giving back to the Australian startup ecosystem. Kate completed The Wade Institute of Entrepreneurship’s VC Catalyst program in 2021, an immersive executive education program for active venture capital investors.
