Kevin Ahern

Overview

Kevin Ahern is the Managing Partner of Brush Creek Partners, a private equity firm based in Littleton, Colorado. With over 40 years of experience, he has expertise in private equity, banking, insurance, investment banking, and investment management. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Colorado and an MBA from the University of Connecticut. Additionally, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Prior to founding Brush Creek Partners in 2020, Mr. Ahern founded and served as Chairman and CEO of CIC Bancshares and Centennial Bank in Denver, Colorado. Under his leadership, Centennial Bank was acquired by Heartland Financial USA in 2016. Following the acquisition, he served as Executive Chairman of Centennial Bank and Chairman of Citywide Banks, both members of Heartland Financial. He also held the position of Executive Vice President at Heartland Financial until 2019. Mr. Ahern's extensive background in private equity and banking has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of financial services, enabling Brush Creek Partners to make strategic investments in various sectors, including specialty finance, banking, manufacturing, distribution, media, and consumer services. His leadership continues to drive the firm's growth and success in the private equity landscape.
