Khalid Nasr is a prominent Moroccan investor with over 25 years of experience in the financial sector. He currently serves as the Executive General Manager responsible for Morocco and Corporate & Investment Banking at Bank of Africa. In this role, he oversees various businesses, including banking operations in Morocco, corporate and investment banking, international operations (excluding Africa), and loan recovery. He is also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMCE Capital, the group's investment banking division, and holds directorships at several other group entities, including Bank of Africa United Kingdom and Bank of Africa Europe. Nasr began his career in France, where he obtained an Executive MBA from ESSEC Business School, a Master's in Finance from ESC Marseilles, and a Master's in Mathematics from Saint-Charles University Marseille. He joined BMCE Capital in 1998, initially responsible for fixed income trading, and later became Head of the Dealing Room in 2005. In 2010, he was appointed Chairman of BMCE Capital's Supervisory Board, overseeing the entire investment banking business. At the beginning of 2019, he was appointed Head of Bank of Africa's Corporate & Investment Banking division. Under Nasr's leadership, BMCE Capital has expanded its operations and diversified its investment portfolio. The firm focuses on various asset classes, including private equity, real estate, and venture capital, and engages in investments across multiple stages, from seed to buyout and turnaround situations.
