Krishna R Bhupal is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with diverse interests across multiple sectors. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from Villanova University, USA. He has been instrumental in the refurbishment of the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai, and serves on the Board of Directors of several key companies within the GVK Group, including Alaknanda Hydro Power Company Ltd., Goriganga Hydro Power Company Ltd., and GVK Ratle Hydro Electric Project Pvt. Ltd. Additionally, he is a Director at Taj GVK Hotels and Resorts Limited and a member of GVK EMRI (Emergency Management and Research Institute). In recent years, Mr. Bhupal has expanded his investment portfolio to include technology and healthcare sectors. He became a founding investor and Board Director at Neuro42 in October 2023, a company focused on developing advanced MRI technology for diagnosis and image-guided interventions. He also co-founded Beacon Media in April 2022, guiding partners through the transition from traditional media to Web 3.0. His family offices are based in India and Singapore, investing in sectors such as FinTech, MedTech, Bio-Tech, Electronic Vehicles, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and deep technology start-ups in Silicon Valley, Singapore, India, and other regions. Mr. Bhupal's leadership extends to various industry associations. He is a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), a global non-profit educational organization for business owners, and serves as the Learning Chair of the EO Hyderabad Chapter. His commitment to developmental projects is further demonstrated through his roles with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), where he is a member of the Andhra Pradesh State Council and Convener of the AP State Energy Panel for the Power Sector. His visionary leadership and commitment to developmental projects have been recognized with a fellowship from the GITAM School of International Business, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam, India.
