Landon Young

Overview

Landon Young is a trans-disciplinary entrepreneur, educator, and investor focused on high-impact technology innovation. He serves as the Vice President of Pre-Seed at Elevate Ventures, the Midwest’s most active seed-stage fund. In this role, he leads efforts to identify and evaluate investment opportunities and supports Indiana’s innovative technology and healthcare sectors. Landon holds a Ph.D. from Purdue University and completed his executive education at Harvard University. He was also an advisor for Stanford University’s international University Innovation Fellows Program, a design thinking and entrepreneurship program through the School. Landon is also an active advisor and board member for several venture-backed startup companies. At Elevate Ventures, Landon has been instrumental in overseeing entrepreneurial programming in support of 35 higher education institutions, resulting in over 500 participants in virtual pitch deck and innovation training, $3.94 million in 85 startup investments, and $1 million in grants to higher education institutions. His leadership has significantly contributed to the growth and success of numerous startups in the region.
