LatBAN is a network of angel investors who make investments in startups with exceptional growth potential. Ex-business owners and other experienced professionals support founders of innovative projects in Latvia and abroad with their expertise, time, and money. The association was founded on April 29, 2014, with the goal of extending and developing the network of investors in Latvia and supporting new and promising projects. LatBAN organizes monthly investment sessions where investors and entrepreneurs meet to discuss potential investments. In 2024, LatBAN members invested over €2.3 million in 36 syndicate investments, with a community growth of 36%, reaching 88 members. Some of the invested startups include... and others. In 2024, LatBAN hosted 19 events, including 17 pitching opportunities that welcomed more than 70 startups from various industries such as Fintech, HealthTech, AgriTech, HR, and more. The association's community continues to grow, with a 36% increase in 2024, reaching 88 members.
