Lead Angels Network is India's first privately owned angel network, founded in 2013 by a team of three IIT Bombay alumni. The network aims to improve early-stage investment outcomes by providing professional assistance to investor-members in company evaluation and supporting portfolio companies in their operations. Lead Angels has grown rapidly and currently has chapters in Mumbai, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. The network comprises successful entrepreneurs and professionals across diverse sectors who wish to identify and support high-potential entrepreneurs. They are supported by a team of experienced and qualified executives passionate about their work for both entrepreneurs and investors. Lead Angels facilitates investor presentations and discussions through video conferencing, with recordings accessible online. By acting as a single entity on the cap table, investee companies attract institutional interest and venture capital, simplifying future fundraising efforts.
