Len Jordan is a seasoned venture capitalist and managing director at Madrona Venture Group, specializing in early-stage technology investments. He joined Madrona in January 2010, focusing on software, hardware, and analytics systems that transform industries, as well as consumer products that enhance sensory experiences. Len is particularly interested in working with entrepreneurs to build scalable and enduring teams. Prior to Madrona, Len was a general partner at Frazier Technology Ventures from 2003 to 2012, where he was involved in investments such as Control4 and DocuSign. Before his venture capital career, he spent 16 years in the software industry, including serving as senior vice president at RealNetworks from 1996 to 2001, where his team released four major versions of the RealSystem software platform, contributing significantly to the company's revenue growth. He also held positions as president of Creative Multimedia, Inc. and product manager at Central Point Software. Len holds bachelor's degrees in finance and economics, graduating magna cum laude from the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. Outside of his professional endeavors, he has been actively involved in community service, including serving as president of the Seattle Country Day School Board of Trustees and as a founding board member of the Seattle United Soccer Club. He enjoys spending time with his four children and engages in activities such as running and tennis.
