Overview

Lindéngruppen is a second-generation family business focusing on the sustainable and long-term development of industrial companies. As an active owner, they provide visionary leadership and empower their companies to transform their industries. Their purpose is to enable each company in the Group to work actively to maximize its benefits in terms of economic, environmental, and social impact, and minimize its negative impact. This is achieved through active and responsible ownership, supporting governance, capital, competence, and positive impact. Their 2030 targets and value creation model reflect this commitment. The Group consists of three wholly owned companies: Beckers, a global market leader in coil coating and a leading supplier of industrial paints; Colart, a world-leading art materials company offering products and brands such as Winsor & Newton and Liquitex; and Alex Begg, a specialized manufacturer of luxury textiles like cashmere scarves, wraps, throws, and luxury knitwear. Additionally, Lindéngruppen has two partly owned companies: Höganäs, the world’s largest producer of metal powder, and cReal, a manufacturer of sustainable oat-based food ingredients. In 2024, Lindéngruppen’s companies had a combined turnover of approximately 20.8 SEK billion, with more than 5,000 employees in 27 countries. Lindéngruppen also devotes time and resources to a number of strategic partnerships that support society at large and contribute to their long-term targets. These include collaborations in the fields of art, education, and children’s rights with organizations such as Färgfabriken, Beckers Art Award, Blekinge Institute of Technology, and Global Child Forum. Their approach to ownership allows businesses to plan long-term and be supported throughout economic cycles, enabling them to prioritize products and solutions with significant positive impact.
