LYVA Labs is a Liverpool-based innovation commercialization company investing in high-growth businesses and quality jobs. They focus on delivering economic growth through the commercialization of innovation, inspiring ideas, creating partnerships, and attracting investment. LYVA Labs works with businesses of any stage and scale that want to put innovative ideas at the heart of their future growth. They partner with start-ups, corporates, higher education institutions, research technology organizations, investors, and public funders to drive innovation within the Liverpool City Region. Their services and programs include investment in early-stage health and life science, deep tech, and clean tech businesses; incubators and accelerators with tailored expertise to secure grant funding and follow-on investment; innovation consultancy, partner matching, and R&D funding for established businesses; and large-scale industry and research consortia building. LYVA Labs aims to increase investment in innovation by providing tailored innovation consultancy, exploiting the wealth of innovation assets, identifying and securing appropriate funding and investment, and inspiring collaboration across the ecosystem. Since its inception, LYVA Labs has made significant strides in supporting the region's innovation ecosystem. They have invested £705K in three life science start-ups, supported 15 start-ups to secure £6 million from grants and other private investors, and enabled the creation of four new companies in the region. Additionally, they launched two new programs offering both financial and business support: their R&D Partnership program and a deep tech incubator. LYVA Labs continues to play a pivotal role in fostering innovation-led growth across the Liverpool City Region.
