M&G Catalyst is a £5 billion purpose-led flexible private assets strategy investing in innovative companies addressing global environmental and social challenges. The strategy focuses on sectors such as planetary health, human health, access and inclusion, and enabling technologies, aiming to achieve both attractive financial returns and positive impacts for people, communities, and the planet. In December 2022, Catalyst became one of the first large UK asset managers to sign the UK Government’s Investing in Women Code. As of 31 December 2024, Catalyst's assets under management stood at US$1.24 billion, with 34 new investments made during the year. The portfolio is diversified across various sectors, including technology, healthcare, energy, and consumer goods, with a geographical focus spanning the United Kingdom, United States, India, Israel, China, and several European countries.
