Marc Lipschultz

Overview

Marc Lipschultz serves as Co-Chief Executive Officer of Blue Owl Capital Inc., a leading alternative investment asset management firm. He co-founded the firm in 2021, bringing extensive experience in private credit, private equity, and real estate investments. Prior to Blue Owl, Marc co-founded Owl Rock Capital Partners, the predecessor firm to Blue Owl’s Credit platform, and spent over two decades at KKR, where he was a member of the Management Committee and Global Head of Energy and Infrastructure. He also held positions at Goldman Sachs, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and principal investment activities. Marc is actively involved in various nonprofit organizations, serving on the boards of the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research, Michael J. Fox Foundation, Mount Sinai Health System, Riverdale Country School, Stanford University Board of Trustees, and the 92nd Street Y. He holds an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School and an AB with honors from Stanford University. Under Marc's leadership, Blue Owl Capital has grown to manage over $315 billion in assets, offering private capital solutions across three multi-strategy platforms: Credit, GP Strategic Capital, and Real Estate.
