Martin Rigby
Overview
Martin Rigby is a seasoned venture capital investor with over 20 years of experience in technology sectors, including network services, software, and hardware. He is the founder and managing director of ET Capital Limited, a Cambridge-based venture capital firm that manages a series of early-stage technology funds. Prior to founding ET Capital in 1992, Rigby was an investment manager at 3i plc in Cambridge, specializing in early-stage technology investments. He has made and managed investments in over 40 innovative technology businesses, serving on the boards of several portfolio companies, including Astron Clinica, Bango, and Oi! Bagel. Rigby holds a degree in history from New College, Oxford, an MBA from Cranfield University, and a degree in IT and Computing from The Open University. He is also an independent director of two venture capital funds: The Cascade Seed Fund and 3en Ventures, and serves as an advisory board member of The Bettany Centre for Entrepreneurship at Cranfield University.
