MH2Fund is a joint venture between MobilityVC and the Monaco Hydrogen Alliance, dedicated to supporting early-stage companies that are advancing the hydrogen economy. The fund focuses on transformative hydrogen technologies with the potential to decarbonize mobility, industry, and logistics sectors. By combining deep policy relationships with venture capital expertise, MH2Fund aims to accelerate Europe's hydrogen ecosystem from laboratory innovations to large-scale deployment. The fund's inaugural investment was in SunGreenH2, a developer of low-cost, modular green hydrogen electrolysers. This investment reflects MH2Fund's commitment to technologies that can rapidly scale and serve both mobility and industrial applications. The partnership with SunGreenH2 is expected to expand the company's product line and accelerate deployments across Europe and globally. Operating under the high patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, the Monaco Hydrogen Alliance plays a leading role in supporting the energy transition and positioning hydrogen as a key enabler of low-carbon mobility worldwide. MH2Fund's strategic focus aligns with the Alliance's mission to advance the adoption of renewable hydrogen throughout the value chain of mobility, aiming to meet the robust targets of CO2 reduction set by the Paris Climate Agreement.
