Miles Anthony

Overview

Miles Anthony is the founder and project lead of Decentral Games, a metaverse-native gaming platform. He co-founded the company in 2019, aiming to create a decentralized casino experience within virtual worlds. Under his leadership, Decentral Games has developed ICE Poker, a play-and-own poker game that leverages blockchain technology to provide players with economic freedom through self-custody and delegation of wearables. The platform operates within Decentraland, a decentralized virtual world governed by a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), ensuring that all ecosystem participants' incentives are aligned to achieve the greatest network effect for the community. Prior to Decentral Games, Miles founded Flux Chargers, an e-commerce company specializing in portable chargers, in 2015 while pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics at UCLA. He graduated in 2017. In June 2022, Miles invested in Monaverse, a company that raised $14.6 million in a Series A funding round led by A.Capital Ventures and 25 other investors. This investment reflects his continued commitment to the growth and development of the metaverse and blockchain gaming sectors.
