Mitch Garber

Mitch Garber is a Canadian lawyer and investor known for his leadership roles in various high-profile companies and his active investment approach. He co-founded and served as CEO of Optimal Payments (now Paysafe), PartyGaming Plc (now part of bwin.party), and Caesars Acquisition Company (now Playtika Ltd.). From 2018 to 2022, he was the inaugural Chairman of Invest in Canada, the Canadian government agency responsible for attracting foreign investment. In 2019, he was awarded the Order of Canada, the country's highest civilian honor. As an active investor, Garber collaborates with major firms such as Apollo Global Management and TPG. His investments span multiple asset classes, including private equity, venture capital, real estate, commodities, crypto, hedge funds, and infrastructure.
