WHO ARE WE?\We are Canada's national centre of excellence for the commercialization and research of natural products. We aim to align, expand, and optimize the pan-Canadian natural products ecosystem to accelerate the development of products and technology platforms that bring real value to real customers. \\WHAT ARE NATURAL PRODUCTS?\To us, natural products is a very broad category, including nutra & cosmeceuticals, natural health products, functional foods, bio-based agricultural products including animal feed and natural veterinary care, and green replacements for chemicals and other products.\\WHAT DO WE DO?\We work with SMEs, MNEs, research institutions, investors, innovation & economic development agencies, and business and commercialization experts such as IP, marketing, and regulatory consultants. Collaborating with these many stakeholders, we evaluate products and technologies, help companies overcome commercialization hurdles, and invest in the opportunities that show the most promise.\\HOW DO WE DO IT?\We are a small core team that relies on many partners across the country and around the world. To foster these relationships, we have regional nodes that act as anchors, connectors, and resource hubs. They are also home to our regional directors who work closely with regional stakeholders to develop opportunities and gather required knowledge and financial resources.Connecting, collaborating, and partnering is the name of our game.\\BACKGROUND AND INFO\We were established in 2016 as part of Canada's Networks of Centres of Excellence with additional financial support from numerous other provincial and private entities.
