Nebraska Angels

Overview

Nebraska Angels is a member-led network of accredited investors dedicated to supporting early-stage, high-growth companies in Nebraska and the broader Midwest region. Founded in 2006, the organization has grown to include over 100 active members who collaborate monthly to review business plans, listen to pitches, conduct due diligence, and negotiate investment terms. The network focuses on a diverse range of industries, including technology, healthcare, consumer products, manufacturing, agriculture, energy, education, financial services, media, telecommunications, transportation, real estate, retail, hospitality, and professional services. Investments typically range from $500,000 to $5,000,000, targeting companies in seed to growth stages. While the decision to invest is made individually by each member, the terms of the investment are standardized across the network. Since its inception, Nebraska Angels has deployed over $75 million in capital, investing in more than 85 portfolio companies. The organization is committed to fostering economic development and building the entrepreneurial community in Nebraska by providing not only capital but also mentorship, guidance, and industry contacts to help entrepreneurs scale their businesses.
