Nepal SBI Bank Limited (NSBL) is a prominent commercial bank in Nepal, established in 1993 as a joint venture between the State Bank of India (SBI), which holds a 55% stake, and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) of Nepal, which owns 15%. The remaining 30% is held by the general public. NSBL operates an extensive network of 153 outlets across 53 districts in Nepal, including 102 full-fledged branches, 22 extension counters, 7 province offices, and 21 branchless banking outlets. The bank offers a wide range of services, including loans, savings accounts, investment products, internet banking, and mobile banking through the YONO Nepal SBI app. NSBL's strategic focus encompasses various business segments such as retail banking, small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) financing, and project finance. In July 2025, NSBL issued a 7% debenture, which was oversubscribed by more than four times, reflecting strong investor confidence. This debenture was listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange in November 2025, marking a significant development in the country's fixed-income market.
