New Rhein is a Private Equity investor. Its partners are former pharmaceutical industry executives having both operating and M+A experience. New Rhein invests into late stage (eg marketing) healthcare companies with the objective of helping target management teams build their business into a profile strategic investors would find attractive. We use our knowledge of what strategic buyers want and our relationships to help our portfolio companies achieve this goal. \\Investment areas of focus include specialty Rx (eg hospital), branded and difficult to make Gx, OTC, biologics, vaccines and emerging markets (in particular China and Brazil). We are interested in product only deals, carve-outs and entire company purchases.
