Pablo Legorreta is a Mexican-American billionaire businessman and founder of Royalty Pharma, a leading acquirer of pharmaceutical royalty streams. He has over 20 years of experience investing in pharmaceutical royalties and building a rapidly growing life sciences investment company. Prior to founding Royalty Pharma in 1996, Legorreta was an investment banker at Lazard Frères in Paris and New York. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. In April 2018, Legorreta led a $67 million equity investment in ITBMed, a biopharmaceutical company focusing on the development of immunomodulatory biologics for organ and stem cell transplantation.
