Parlem Ventures

Overview

Parlem Ventures is a start-up acceleration programme focused on the new technologies sector with the aim of boosting the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Catalonia. The programme is a joint initiative between Parlem Telecom and Inveready, with collaboration from the Chamber of Commerce, the Mobile World Capital Foundation, the i2CAT Foundation, and the Department of Vice-Presidency and Digital Policies and Territory of the Generalitat de Catalunya. It aims to support start-ups in the seed and pre-seed phases that develop business solutions for the new technologies sector. The programme offers a comprehensive support system for entrepreneurs, including training workshops on specific subjects of general interest, mentoring from a multidisciplinary team of experts, financing opportunities, business momentum, workspace, testbed facilities, and business support. Parlem Ventures focuses on sectors such as Industry 4.0 solutions, process automation (RPA), software and hardware components for 5G networks, edge computing solutions, AI-driven customer experience improvements, AI sales optimization tools, and B2B SaaS products like ERPs and CRMs. Since its inception, Parlem Ventures has selected winning start-ups in its annual editions, providing them with opportunities for pilot projects with Parlem Telecom and potential strategic alliances. The programme emphasizes promoting female entrepreneurship, with several women-led companies among the selected start-ups. Parlem Ventures continues to contribute to the growth and innovation of the Catalan entrepreneurial ecosystem by supporting emerging technology companies.
