Pivosto Oy is a Finnish private investment firm focusing on responsible and steady investments. The company owns approximately 10% of the shares in Kalmar Corporation and Hiab Corporation, both of which were previously part of Cargotec Corporation. Pivosto's roots trace back to the founding of Cargotec in 2005, when Kone Corporation was split into two listed companies: Cargotec and the new Kone. Since its inception, Pivosto has engaged in active securities investing and has gradually expanded its holdings. Pivosto is involved in Credit Suisse's Asia Impact Investment Fund, which aims to improve living conditions for the poorest population in Asia.
