Pradeep Mehra

Overview

Pradeep Mehra is an angel investor and Professor & CEO at Shiv Nadar University, with a background in engineering and management. He has over three and a half decades of corporate experience, including nearly two decades at CXO, CEO, and Board of Directors levels. His expertise encompasses business turnaround, strategy formulation and implementation, joint ventures, strategic alliances, labor relations, growth management, diversification, corporate restructuring, business valuation, deal negotiation, fund raising, financial controls, internal audit, supply chain management, and ERP implementation. He has also been involved in hiring and retaining top talent at the CXO level. In his role at Shiv Nadar University, he serves as a Professor of Practice in the Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, Atal Incubation Center, School of Management and Entrepreneurship. He is also a member of the board of the Atal Incubation Center at Shiv Nadar University, which supports over 150 startups across diverse sectors. The center provides comprehensive support, connecting entrepreneurs with mentors, investors, and global networks, and has incubated 25 new technology startups as part of its comprehensive incubation program. Additionally, he is associated with the Shiv Nadar Aic Research Foundation, a private not-for-profit company based in New Delhi, where he serves as a director. The foundation engages in public service by government administration within the public services by government agencies sector. He has been instrumental in overseeing the financial aspects of over twenty group companies and has held significant positions in various organizations, including serving as the CFO of OMSC, a large trading company dealing with Suzuki, Mobil, GE, Perkins, and FG Wilson, and as the Commercial Head for Metal Box India, handling the entire supply chain cycle for Western India operations. His extensive experience and leadership roles have contributed significantly to the growth and development of the organizations he has been associated with.
