PRESTO I is a venture capital firm focused on investing in disruptive and scalable companies in Puerto Rico and the United States, emphasizing the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. The firm is the result of a joint venture between IDEA Fund Partners, which manages $40 million, and REOF Capital, LLC. The firm collaborates with early-stage companies exhibiting strong cash flow potential and leverages a robust nationwide co-investment network. PRESTO I's managing partners have worked together for 14 years across three funds and 41 investments. They have developed proven and efficient processes, referred to as 'money-ball driven,' to identify and support promising ventures. PRESTO I's team includes advisors with extensive experience in technology and venture capital. Ramon Morales, a senior advisor, has provided advisory services to multiple technology companies in Silicon Valley and holds degrees from Michigan State University and the University of North Carolina. Lister Delgado, with 15 years of early-stage VC experience, has led nine investments and evaluated thousands of companies. He has a background in semiconductor design, software development, and systems engineering at AT&T Bell Labs and Lucent Technologies. Delgado is currently a director on the boards of several companies and holds degrees from Brown University, the University of Texas-Austin, and the University of North Carolina. PRESTO I's partnership with Puerto Rico One LLC includes Jose Ortiz, a serial entrepreneur and lead investor in Puerto Rico One LLC; Ramon Morales, a technology entrepreneur with experience taking two companies public; and David Cortiella, a structured and public finance, tax credit specialist, attorney, and investor with numerous senior-level positions in the City of Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
