Quantedge Capital is an alternative investment asset manager based in Singapore and New York City, managing over US$4 billion under its flagship Quantedge Global Master Fund primarily on behalf of high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutions. The firm employs a systematic quantitative investment strategy diversified across multiple asset classes, including equities, bonds, commodities, currencies, and insurance-linked securities. Quantedge Capital is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and holds a Capital Markets Services (CMS) License. The firm's investment approach is characterized by ultra-diversification, targeting a constant level of total risk, which approximates to 25% annualized volatility. Quantedge Capital does not employ short-term day-trading strategies; instead, it holds positions ranging from weeks to several years. The fund has delivered positive returns for most years since inception, except in 2008 (-23%), 2015 (-18%), 2018 (-29%), and 2022 (-21%). Its largest annual gains were in 2010 and 2019, with 82% and 70% returns respectively. Quantedge Capital has garnered numerous international awards and accolades over the years, including Top 5 Large Hedge Funds by Bloomberg in 2014 and 2016, Best Asian Billion Dollar Hedge Fund by EurekaHedge in 2018, and Fund of the Year by AsiaHedge in 2014 and 2016. The firm's employees are collectively the largest investor in the fund, ensuring a strong alignment of interest between the firm and its external investors. Quantedge Capital does not have any offices in Malaysia or Hong Kong or any other countries, and does not operate any mobile application. Quantedge Capital does not offer any trading courses, stock lending or trading services, or any of the above-mentioned arrangements or programs.
