His first startup, Artisangilt.com, focused on consolidating the ethnic wear and fashion jewelry markets in India, and was acquired by IGP.com in 2014, after which he moved to IGP as the CEO of the company. IGP is currently the largest online gifting company in India. At both Artisangilt & IGP, he was directly responsible for product, strategy, and marketing. In his early days, he spent 8 years in capital markets as a sell-side Equity Research Analyst covering mid-to-large cap stocks in the UK/Europe at Lehman Brothers, and then in India at HSBC Securities. He is an IIT Bombay alum and a CFA charter holder.
