Randy Altschuler

Overview

Randy Altschuler is an American entrepreneur and investor specializing in technology and business services. He co-founded Xometry, Inc., a global AI-powered marketplace for manufacturing, in 2013 and serves as its CEO. Under his leadership, Xometry went public in 2021 and has experienced significant growth, with annual revenue increasing from $218 million in FY 2021 to $546 million in FY 2024. Xometry offers a suite of technology solutions, including an AI-driven Instant Quoting Engine and cloud-based software, to streamline development cycles and enhance supply chain resilience. Prior to Xometry, Altschuler co-founded CloudBlue Technologies, a provider of electronic equipment recycling services, in 2001 and served as its Executive Chairman until its acquisition by Ingram Micro in 2013. He also co-founded OfficeTiger, a global business process outsourcing company, in 1999, which was acquired by RR Donnelley in 2006. Earlier in his career, Altschuler worked in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and in real estate private equity at The Blackstone Group. Altschuler holds a Bachelor of Arts in German Studies and Literature from Princeton University, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and studied at the University of Vienna as a Fulbright Scholar. He is also a director at OpenLane, Inc., a digital marketplace for wholesale used vehicles.
