Rashaun Williams is a dynamic investor and entrepreneur specializing in technology, consumer products, and media sectors. He is the founder and chief investment officer of Harbinger Sports Partners, a $750 million private equity fund focused on acquiring minority stakes in U.S. professional sports teams. In May 2025, he launched Harbinger Sports Partners alongside Mark Cuban and Steve Cannon. Williams is also a limited partner in the Atlanta Falcons, demonstrating his commitment to the sports industry. Prior to his current ventures, Williams co-founded Queensbridge Venture Partners, where he was an early investor in companies like Robinhood, Coinbase, Casper, Ring, PillPack, Lyft, and Dropbox. His investment strategy emphasizes backing visionary founders solving real problems, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds or with ideas that challenge legacy industries. Over the last two decades, he has been responsible for bringing capital to emerging, diverse, and alternative markets while working at Wall Street firms such as Goldman Sachs, Wachovia Securities, and Deutsche Bank. In 2007, he founded Dixsville Partners, a private equity fund investing in infrastructure development and mineral companies in West Africa. Williams is also a passionate advocate for financial literacy and entrepreneurship. In 2001, he founded the Kemet Institute, a nonprofit focused on providing free financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and life skills classes to underserved communities and schools. In 2023, he founded Antimatter Business Partners to teach athletes and entertainers how to operate their own private equity family offices. He graduated summa cum laude from Morehouse College and serves on the board of directors for The Atlanta Opera.
