Ray Lane

Ray Lane is a venture capitalist and former Oracle executive. He is the Managing Partner at GreatPoint Ventures, focusing on investments in digital health, biotech, enterprise, and AI sectors. His investment strategy emphasizes a hands-on approach, actively recruiting executives, facilitating deals, and driving organizational changes to support portfolio companies. Prior to his venture capital career, Lane served as President and COO of Oracle Corporation, leading the company's turnaround in the 1990s and contributing to its significant market capitalization growth. He also held senior positions at Booz Allen & Hamilton and Electronic Data Systems Corporation. Lane currently serves on the boards of Carnegie Mellon University, Special Olympics International, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
