Reatile Group is a Johannesburg-based, 100% black-owned investment company focusing on energy, petrochemicals, and industry in South Africa. Established in 2003, Reatile Group has developed a diverse portfolio that includes investments in energy, petrochemicals, and industrial sectors. The company's strategic focus is on operating across the value chain in the petroleum industry, with plans to acquire a strategic equity investment in a refinery and distribution network in South Africa to become an integrated petroleum company operating in Africa. Reatile Group is currently invested in storage through a 30% equity interest in Vopak Investment South Africa, Vopak South African Development, and Vopak Reatile Richards Bay. Additionally, the company holds a 25.01% equity interest in CNG Holdings, a 45% equity interest in Easigas, a 37.54% equity interest in Pragma Holdings, a 15% equity interest in six Solar PV Plants from REIPPP Round 4 totaling 455 MW, a 20% equity interest in juwi Solar ZA Construction, and a 43% equity interest in juwi Solar ZA O&M. Reatile Group's investment strategy encompasses various stages, including growth, late stage, pre-IPO, buyout, turnaround, and distressed investments. The company has a proven track record of successfully operating, maintaining, managing, and growing a portfolio of energy investments alongside some of the largest energy companies in South Africa and around the world. Through its active participation in all aspects of the energy sector, the team has developed and maintains sustainable, professional relationships with key players in the energy sector, including the Department of Energy, industry regulators, and other industry participants. The Board and Executive Management team of Reatile Group have over 200 years of combined experience in the energy and allied sectors. Since its incorporation, Reatile has concluded 17 acquisitions, disposals, and merger transactions, including associated fundraising, and has been actively involved in the funding and implementation of 14 major organic growth projects. As a result, Reatile has developed strong relationships with financiers, corporate and project finance professionals, as well as a host of legal professionals. Reatile Group is a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor, with 100% black ownership and 30% black women ownership.
