Overview

The Révolution Environnementale et Solidaire Fund is a French investment fund managed by Crédit Mutuel Impact, dedicated to financing projects with significant environmental and social impacts. Established in 2023, the fund operates under the Societal Dividend initiative of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, committing €363 million in its first year to support transformative projects in various sectors. The fund's investment strategy encompasses six key areas: transformation of housing techniques and practices, sustainable mobility solutions, participation in the low-carbon industrial transformation, efficient use of natural resources (particularly water), preservation of forests and oceans as carbon sinks, and the development of innovative waste management solutions. It targets companies at growth, late stage, and pre-IPO stages, with investments ranging from €3 million to €10 million. Notable investments include the acquisition of Groupement Forestier Vosges Nord, which sequesters approximately 23,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually, and support for Colonies, a startup focused on high-performance energy-efficient housing. The fund also invested in Eco-Tech Ceram, a company specializing in decarbonized heating solutions for the industrial sector, and Néolithe, a startup developing innovative waste treatment technologies. These investments reflect the fund's commitment to accelerating the ecological and solidarity transition in France.
