As Executive Director of Impact Charitable, Rich Hoops leads the organization in deploying catalytic capital to support social enterprises and community development projects. Under his leadership, Impact Charitable has mobilized over $100 million in grants and investments since 2014, serving more than 29,000 individuals and businesses. The organization offers a range of services, including donor-advised funds, direct investment opportunities, and special purpose funds, all aimed at aligning philanthropic capital with social impact. In 2023, Impact Charitable launched Catalytic Capital Partners, a joint venture with Mission Driven Finance, to design and manage blended capital funds that drive resources directly into communities. This initiative has successfully mobilized over $16 million across five funds, demonstrating a commitment to innovative financing solutions. Hoops' strategic vision emphasizes the importance of flexible, community-centered capital deployment to build wealth and power within underserved communities. With a background in both corporate and entrepreneurial settings, Hoops has dedicated over a decade to impact investing and nonprofit leadership.
