Overview

Roc Partners is a specialised private equity investment firm focused primarily on the Asia Pacific markets. Roc Partners was established following the management buy-out of Macquarie Group Limited's private equity fund of funds business unit by its senior executives. This business unit was previously positioned within the Macquarie Funds Group and was known as Macquarie Investment Management Private Markets ("MIMPM").\\The business, now operating as Roc Partners, has been in continuous operation since 1996 when it began offering private equity solutions to Australian Superannuation Funds. The business has since grown to become one of the most experienced private equity investors in the Asia Pacific region representing some of the largest institutional investors in the Australian market.\\Roc Partners offers a differentiated approach that goes far beyond the selection of superior private equity funds, including highly selective but meaningful allocations to co-investments and secondaries. Roc Partners began advising on and investing in these strategies in 1996, and has built deep proprietary deal flow networks and transaction structuring capabilities over multiple economic cycles. Over its history, Roc Partners has invested in over 100 primary funds, and over 100 co-investments and secondary investments across the Asia Pacific region. Roc Partners has over 20 professionals across offices in Sydney, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
