Roshi Motman

Overview

Roshi Motman is a Swedish entrepreneur and angel investor, best known for her role as the Chief Executive Officer of Amuse, a global digital music distribution and label business based in Stockholm. She has a background in telecom, media, and music, having served as the CEO of Tigo Ghana and later the merged entity with Bharti Airtel, AirtelTigo Ghana. Prior to her tenure at Millicom/Tigo, Motman held various management positions at Tele2 in Sweden, focusing on product management, sales, and customer operations. She holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. In addition to her executive roles, Motman is an active angel investor. She was one of the first investors in Amuse, participating in its seed funding round in 2017. Under her leadership, Amuse has experienced significant growth, becoming one of the top five largest DIY distributors globally by market share in 2023. Her contributions to the music industry were recognized when she was named one of Billboard's 2024 International Power Players for her efforts in supporting a new generation of independent artists. Motman also serves on the board of Swedfund International, the Swedish state's development financier, and is the co-founder of Qualiteq, a software development and telecom services company.
