Ruchira Shukla is the Founder and CEO of Green Marble VC, a venture capital firm focused on supporting early-stage companies in India. With over 25 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, and global investment banking, she has held leadership roles at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Lehman Brothers. Her expertise spans sectors such as consumer internet, enterprise technologies, B2B eCommerce, HealthTech, Edutech, and eLogistics, with a keen interest in business models leveraging emerging technologies like Web 3.0, AI, IoT, and blockchain to disrupt traditional spaces. At IFC, Ruchira led investments in early-stage technology businesses and venture capital funds, representing IFC on the boards of several startups and LP advisory committees. Her notable investments include Upgrad, Blackbuck, Bizongo, Tata1mg, Medgenome, and Byju’s. As the Global Lead for the HealthTech business at IFC, she spearheaded investments and interventions in the HealthTech industry across emerging markets. Ruchira holds a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Delhi, an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, and graduated as a Palmer Scholar from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
