The Rutt Bridges Venture Fund (RBVF) is an early-stage micro investment fund managed by a cross-disciplinary team of University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) students. Under the guidance of faculty members and professional advisors, the fund invests real capital into early-stage companies within the Denver community. RBVF aims to provide students with practical experience in venture capital while supporting local startups. The fund accepts business plan submissions from CU Denver students and recent graduates, seeking innovative, high-impact ideas. Investments range from $5,000 to $50,000, focusing on sectors such as technology, healthcare, consumer products, energy, education, financial services, media, telecommunications, transportation, real estate, retail, manufacturing, agriculture, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals. Notably, RBVF does not invest in real estate, gambling, cannabis, or any other industry incompatible with the mission of CU Denver. RBVF operates with a commitment to ethical investment practices, aligning with the values of CU Denver.
