Overview

SABAH.fund is a venture capital fund committed to empowering pioneers building tomorrow. Established as the first-ever VC fund between Central Asia and MENAPT+ and the largest VC fund with an office in Azerbaijan, SABAH.fund focuses on investing early at pre-seed and seed stages up to Series A. The fund primarily targets founders from or with operations in the South Caucasus, Central Asia, and MENAPT+ regions, aiming to support innovative entrepreneurs and stimulate technological advancements in key sectors and rapidly developing regions. The fund's investment strategy emphasizes primary sectors such as FinTech, CleanTech, and EdTech, with secondary focus areas including digital health, AgriTech, PropTech, and LogisticsTech. SABAH.fund seeks to invest in the most promising and innovative technology startups in the region, leveraging its cross-border reach to build an innovation bridge with neighboring regions and take portfolio companies from local winners to regional leaders and global champions. SABAH.fund is managed by Rahim Bayramli and Abbas Kazmi, both with extensive experience in the venture capital and entrepreneurial sectors. Rahim Bayramli is the executive director of SABAH.HUB Innovation Center and a graduate of the London School of Economics. Abbas Kazmi is an entrepreneur and venture capital investor, recognized with awards such as Forbes 30 Under 30 and Maserati 100, and a graduate of Oxford University. SABAH.fund is committed to supporting companies with global ambitions, aiming to build innovation bridges for technology and education in the Caucasus, Central Asia, and MENA regions.
