Scott Cohen

Overview

Scott Cohen is an entrepreneur and angel investor specializing in health technology startups. He co-founded Byte, an at-home invisible aligner brand, which became a leading direct-to-consumer oral care platform in the U.S. Byte achieved unicorn status without raising outside capital and was acquired by Dentsply Sirona in 2021. Cohen is also the Chairman of Audien Hearing, a leading over-the-counter hearing aid brand, and co-founded AlterMe, a personalized wellness platform. Prior to his focus on health tech, he founded and led 180fusion, a search engine marketing platform acquired by Deluxe Corporation, and served as Executive Director of Currency, a fintech platform acquired by a private equity firm. He has been recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young in 2021. Cohen actively advises and invests in growth-stage companies across the tech sector and serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, including the Prostate Cancer Research Institute and the Jewish Graduate Student Initiative. He graduated from the University of Arizona and resides in Los Angeles, California, with his family.
