Seedstars World
Overview
Seedstars World is an exclusive worldwide competition to discover the best startups in emerging and fast growing economies. The competition takes place annually, from April until December, in more than 50 cities around the world. Startups in the field of technology, web or mobile can apply and they must have been founded for no more than 2 years, with a maximum amount of 0.5 million USD to date and a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). After a tough selection process and local pitching events in their respective cities, only one startup per country will participate in the final event held in February 2016 in Geneva, Switzerland. The winners will receive different prizes such as coaching and mentoring from partners and well-known entrepreneurs, equity investments, entry into acceleration programs, advertising and hosting services.
