Shane Neman is a serial entrepreneur and investor specializing in technology, real estate, and hospitality. As the Chief Investment Officer and Principal of Neman Ventures, he focuses on identifying unique and often overlooked opportunities with significant potential. His investment experience spans various asset classes, including venture capital, private equity, and real estate, leading to numerous successful outcomes. Neman Ventures backs over 50 startups, such as Impossible Foods, Athletic Greens, SandboxAQ, Cirkul, Flexport, Convoy, Prose, Kraken, Deep Sentinel, Anvyl, Future, MapAnything, VinePair, Hyperice, and Gupshup. In real estate and private equity, his investments include Pacific Park at the Santa Monica Pier, Canyon Bikes, The Racquet Lounge Southampton (NY), Marriott Residence Inn Boca Raton (FL), Watchtower Dumbo (NY), One Mission Bay (San Francisco, CA), and Standard Life Building (Pittsburgh, PA). Prior to his investment career, Neman founded and led three technology startups. After leaving NYU Medical School early, he built JoonBug into a multimillion-dollar digital events company, executing over 300 events annually with more than 100,000 attendees. He later founded EZ Texting, the largest business SMS software platform in the U.S., which was acquired by CallFire in 2013. Neman holds a degree in Computer Science from New York University, where he received the Barry M. Goldwater scholarship and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. In 2023, Neman authored his first business book, 'Nightlife Lessons,' sharing insights from his entrepreneurial journey. He resides in Miami, Florida, with his wife and children, continuing to invest in and support innovative ventures across various industries.
